Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp collagen powder (unflavored or flavored, depending on your preference)
- 1/2 cup fresh fruit juice (e.g., orange, mixed berries, or pomegranate)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (for extra flavor and vitamin C)
- 1-2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, depending on the sweetness of the fruit juice)
- 2 tbsp gelatin powder (for texture and structure)
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions:
- Prepare the juice base: In a small saucepan, combine the fruit juice and lemon juice. If using honey or maple syrup, stir it into the juice mixture. Gently heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, but don’t let it boil.
- Bloom the gelatin: While the juice is warming, mix the gelatin powder with the water in a small bowl. Stir until the gelatin has fully absorbed the water, creating a thick paste (this is called “blooming”).
- Dissolve the gelatin: Once the juice is warm (but not boiling), add the bloomed gelatin to the saucepan. Stir constantly over low heat until the gelatin has completely dissolved into the juice. Be sure there are no lumps.
- Add collagen powder: Remove the saucepan from heat, and whisk in the collagen powder until fully dissolved.
- Pour into molds: Carefully pour the gummy mixture into silicone molds or a small baking dish lined with parchment paper.
- Chill: Place the molds in the fridge for at least 1-2 hours or until the gummies have fully set.
Unmold and store: Once set, pop the gummies out of the molds or cut them into bite-sized squares if using a baking dish. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

- You can add vitamin C powder for an extra immune boost.
